Garage Games is Back!

Whoa! now this is a suprise.
President Eric Priesz announced this morning that Garage Games is back.
I found this post to my Facebook this morning by friend and former co-worker Michael Perry.  He stated that  not only is the company alive again, but that they took it back to their indie roots and dropped the prices to just $99.00 for any of their products.
This is HUGE.
Having personally worked with both Eric and Michael, I know these guys suffered when the studio closed because they are die-hard passionate about the product.  Their commitment to Torque it is absolute and unwavering.  So to see them lose everything they worked for when the studio closed last November, was heart aching.  Displaced from their hometown, and now dispersed from their colleagues, and an unsure future- it looked pretty grim.
However,
I should have known Eric had something up his sleeve.  His last post on FB showed him taking a snow skiing with his family and I thought to myself that it was unusually out of character for someone who is a typical workaholic,  especially now that were closing in on 2 months after the studio closure.  Anyone else in this predicament would be in panic mode.  Not Eric though, he has this certain confidence about him that eludes to knowing something that you don't and in this case, it couldn't have been more true.
I asked Michael if they were still in Las Vegas, and he said they are.  Working out of the old office but getting ready to move to a new location in town.
I'm excited to see them land on their feet in a better position than they were before. It just goes to show that anything can happen and if you have really believe in something.  You can find a way to make it work.

If you're an indie developer, I suggest you take advantage of the deal they are offering before the price goes up.
